Showcasing our ROV at Bear Summit 2025 (by Bangladesh National Semiconductor Symposium)
MIST Mavrovic showcased the Leviathan at the BEAR Summit hosted in Dhaka. The event was organized by the Bangladesh National Semiconductor Symposium (BNS) and held in conjunction with the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and the Enhancing Digital Government Economy (EDGE) project. The summit provided an excellent opportunity for student teams, professors, researchers, industry professionals and organizations across Bangladesh. This platform not only highlighted innovative marine ventures and robotics but also enabled collaborative opportunities while positioning our project as a step toward advancing underwater inspection technology.
Appreciation from Bangladesh Coast Guard
MIST Mavirov had the opportunity to present the Leviathan ROV at the Bangladesh Coast Guard Headquarters. Our project was highly appreciated for its potential in maritime operations, underwater inspection and surveillance. The Coast Guard expressed strong support for our initiative and assured us of assistance with specialized equipment such as sonar sensors, as well as access to facilities including ships, rivers and the Bay of Bengal for future testing and deployment. This recognition from a national maritime authority validated the practical significance of our innovation and opened the door for impactful collaborations in safeguarding Bangladesh’s waterways.
Collaboration with Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden
MIST Mavirov visited Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden with the Leviathan and had a meeting with the Marketing Manager. Following their strong interest in our annovation, Radisson Blu Water Garden became our Official Hospitality Partner, extending their support to our team. This partnership not only strengthened our professional network but also ensured that our team receives valuable hospitality support in future projects and showcases, reflecting growing recognition of our innovation in corporate circles.
Testing at RE-05 Brigade, Postoghola Cantonment
MIST Mavirov brought the Leviathan to the RE05 Brigade of the Riverine Engineering Brigade, Bangladesh Army, situated at Postogola Cantonment, where we conducted live testing of our ROV in their swimming pool, which is the deepest in Dhaka. The trials showcased the ROV’s stability, maneuverability and underwater inspection capabilities in a controlled environment, validating our prototype under realistic conditions and paving the way for potential future cooperation.
Showcasing at MIST Job Fair
MIST Mavirov showcased the Leviathan at the MIST Job Fair, a platform connecting students with industry leaders and professionals. During the event, we engaged with various industry representatives, demonstrating the capabilities and applications of our underwater drone. This opportunity helped us highlight our innovation, expand our professional network and gain valuable feedback from experts in the engineering and technology sectors.
Diving Exercise at RE-05 Brigade
MIST Mavirov was honored to successfully conduct the live transmission of a prestigious diving exercise organized by the RE-05 Brigade of the Bangladesh Army. During this exercise, professional Army divers carried out a series of challenging underwater activities, which were seamlessly broadcast to the audience in real time through our indigenously developed ROUV, Leviathan 2.0. The performance of our ROUV received outstanding recognition for its precision, reliability, and ability to operate flawlessly in demanding underwater conditions. This milestone not only showcased our technical capabilities but also served as a powerful proof of concept for MIST Mavirov, demonstrating how our innovations can be applied in real-world, high-stakes scenarios.
National ICT Scout Jamboree 2025
MIST Mavirov showcased the Leviathan at the 3rd National ICT Scout Jamboree 2025 at Bangladesh Scout Training Institute, Gazipur, Dhaka. This time, the young and curious minds of Bangladesh Scout on their Jamboree were in for something different. Beyond forest trails and obstacle parkour, they discovered a taste of technology—machines and innovations that make true gearheads go wild.
